This place is a dump that trades on an undeserved reputation for being edgy or arty. Today I tried to watch a film in Cinema 5 - an airless box three levels down with paint fumes escaping from the car park next door. Call me insane but I decided I wasn't going to pay for the privilege of being asphyxiated. I was given a refund and a voucher but it's pretty clear that Nova's commitment is to profits and not customer comfort, otherwise they would have closed Cinema 5 for a day or so. If I never return it'll be too soon.

Cinema nova is a love affair for those of us who love art house and independent movies. I frequently visit this venue but they urgently need to do something about their smaller cinemas. We recently saw a movie at Cinema 7, which was a total dump. Awful sound system, tiny screen and maybe 25 people seated, it felt like late 80s. I would be more comfortable watching it on my laptop honestly. it is a disgrace to be showing movies there for the full price.

Clean and orderly without sacrificing too much of its art house ambience. Its monthly screenings of the room are unique.

Indipendent cinema is always better. A nice vibe but a bit run down.

Great indie cinema. Good vibes. Nice staff. Great selection of films and usually shows things that are a bit less mainstream as well. I like it!
